We operate with a community development model and intend that the projects and partnerships we develop will make significant and lasting contributions to the quality of life of our communities.

The Foundation was the product of a thorough process of consultation and development which resulted in the creation of a dynamic, forward thinking, Taranaki focused organisation that has the potential to make a huge difference to people's lives across the region.

Our approach is one of strategic creativity. We intend that the Foundation will remain a vibrant catalyst that nurtures and supports the widest possible range of organisations and projects. We envisage that the Foundation will become a major advocate on behalf of the voluntary and community sector and will secure support for organisations that deliver essential community services, but struggle to meet the demands of fundraising, management, compliance and administration.
