ICT Gateway Social EnterprisePlease contact Kiki Ruakere, IT Coordinator at kiki@ictgateway.org.nz or on 06 759 1178 ext 2 1. Advice All community organisations are offered their first meeting with the ICT Gateway at no charge. If the relationship is to continue beyond this the organisation will receive a proposal outlining: Advice is costed at $65 per hour (ex GST). This cost reflects the fact that the ICT Gateway has been created as a social enterprise to respond to organisations working for the common good. It therefore works to break even and can offer a rate well below that of market rate (circa $100-145 per hour) 2. Remote Management Service Agreements Remote management agreements can provide certainty for organisations with ongoing ICT requirements. All remote management arrangements will be based on signed Service Level Agreements detailing parameters of service provided and cost to the organisation. All remote management contracts require an AP payment from the organisation The minimum service charge for a remote management contract is $130 per month (ex GST)
3. Cloud Solutions With the support of the TSB Community Trust the ICT Gateway is able to support organisations to access existing cloud platforms where this is appropriate. The ICT Gateway can also offer ongoing support to organisations to enable them to better manage their cloud relationship once established. Cloud support will be costed on a case by case basis. 4. Ad hoc Technical Response This is provided at a cost of $65 per hour (ex GST) to community organisations. However, the ICT Gateway does not provide low level technical support (such as minor repairs) and does not offer training in basic programmes such as Word or Excel. The ICT Gateway aims to engage with organisations around technical discussions that have a wider reaching / strategic impact for the organisation. 5. Hardware/Software The ICT Gateway does not purchase hardware/software for organisations. The ICT Gateway can recommend specifications to assist organisations to make purchases. The ICT Gateway also has a number of preferred suppliers that are able to work effectively with community organisations. The ICT Gateway recommends that community organisations register with Microsoft Techsoup for their software purchases as software is heavily discounted by Microsoft for community organisations. 6. Emergency Cover The ICT Gateway has developed a partnership with Gen-i in Taranaki. In the event that ICT Gateway are unavailable for an extended period (due to leave or sickness) Gen-i have an up to date profile of all organisations being supported and will provide an emergency response on our behalf.
